Legs Talk: Nader Naeymi-Rad
Do you walk?
I do. I do a considerable amount of walking. I live in Zurich, Switzerland, and we live close by the lake. During COVID there was a lot of angst in the household, so I used to go for walks to kind of get away from that, and it gradually became my thing. It was relaxing, it helped me focus, to concentrate, and I came up with some great ideas. So now I do 2-hour walks, 12 kilometres.
Do you listen to music on the walk?
I don’t. If I do listen to music, it would be just to distract myself, but what I love to do on my walks is listen to The Economists, which I do religiously, and then also there’s some great podcasts, historical podcasts, and the Daily Telegraph. So that’s kind of what I do. Other than that, I mostly just talk to myself.
What music do you dance to?
Music that I dance to is anything from the mid 50s to the mid 60s. Although, I do have a soft spot for disco. I don’t think disco ever died. I think there is still some disco lingering out in the universe. So those would be the kind of things that I listen to in terms of making me dance.
Do you have a leg icon? Is there somebody whose legs you admire and love?
Very easy to answer that. It’s my wife, partner, Miss Tamara Sedmak. She has the most amazing pair of legs. Her legs are very important to her, to me, to America, to the world.
One last thing. Where are your legs going to take you this week?
My legs are going to take me to downtown LA where we’re having our Uplink Expo on Monday and Tuesday, and then Wednesday we have a break, and then Thursday we have our added live where we have 70 brands like Legology exhibiting. So, it’s going to be a full week for me.
