WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE WALK AND DO YOU PREFER A COMPANION (DOG, FRIEND, CHILDREN, ETC) OR GOING SOLO?
I love going out with my grandson Max, but that’s not much of a walk – it’s very stop/start! If I just want to get out and have a quick walk, the place I always seem to go to is Paddington Recreation ground, it’s quick, near and I don’t have to think much about it. When I want a longer walk (10,000 steps), I will walk from my home to Kensal Green Cemetery to pay my respects to my parents.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE JEAN STYLE?
My favourite jean style is a variation of the classic straight leg, and my favourite brand is AG Jeans.
WHERE HAVE YOUR LEGS TAKEN YOU TODAY?
I went to a beauty launch in Tooting earlier today and then I went to the Paddington Recreation ground to get my steps in.
WHAT ARE YOUR BEST TIPS FOR EASING BLOAT/PUFFINESS?
Anything that gets the circulation going, ie – massages/drainage. I also use Ice Globes as they help to de-puff the face and make you look more awake. I recently had a Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage, which works for the whole body but in particular the legs. I booked it through the Ruuby App, my therapist Morgane was great. The other thing I find helps after a long day of standing on my feet is to rest my legs up against the wall for 10 minutes.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR LEG CARE ROUTINE.
I dry brush my legs, and really need to make an effort to do this more often. Dry brushing is great for stimulating everything, softening the skin and getting rid of dead cells. I regularly exfoliate my whole body, not just my legs. Some of my favourite products are from Legology, Beauty Pie, Doctor Goldfaden MD and Sanctuary. After exfoliation, I always always always moisturise with a thicker/heavier body cream or balm, especially on heels, knees and shins.
CAN YOU SHARE WITH US YOUR ALL-TIME BEAUTY/MAKEUP BESTS?
I love a concealer, and my all time favourites are Nars radiant Cream concealer, and Laura Mercier secret Camouflage. I am also very partial to my Ruby Hammer Lip Serum Balms, they are great in the summer months for a pop of colour on the cheeks as well as the lips.
WHAT SONG MAKES YOUR LEGS HIT THE DANCE FLOOR?
Jingo by Candido (Dr. Packer Rework)
WHO IS YOUR LEG ICON/LEG ROLE MODEL?
My daughter Reena’s lower legs, knee to ankle, are as great as any model I have ever worked with. My other leg role model is Amandine (@amandinecc), of all the models I’ve worked with she really stands out.
WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT YOUR LEGS (BODY CARE, EXERCISE ETC)?
It’s always a mixture. What you eat (for example, too much salt in your food and you’ll be puffy) what exercise you do to strengthen them, and the skincare you use to smooth them out. It really is a combination of all three.
